Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken on land proposed for residential development at the junction of Tring Road and Chapel End Lane, Wilstone. Four linear trenches were excavated. Although it was shown there had been little ground disturbance that would have affected the survival archaeological features on the site, only a low density of features was identified within the trenches. Some of the features were shown to be of modern origin, none of the remaining features contained finds, and it was uncertain if these features were indeed the products of human or natural activity.
