Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a site which lay within the former precinct of a medieval nunnery. Excavations to the north had revealed an iron age ditch or pit and a sequence of activities relating to the nunnery. During the evaluation, a possible late medieval pit was revealed, and a post-medieval pit containing window glass, mortar fragments and animal bone was recorded. [A(adp)] |
