Abstract: |
A borehole survey was undertaken to provide information relating to the type, quality and depth of strata present over the site. The archaeological deposits consisted of soils, silts and occasional clays containing fragments of charcoal, snadstone and sometimes brick. Some of the deposits could have been associated with low-level buildings thought to have been present on the sie in the late 18th century. [AIP] |
