Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring of the construction of a new road at RAF Lakenheath revealed a light scatter of features, pits and ditches, one of which can be dated to the Bronze Age. Although this could not be claimed to represent settlement occupation it indicated prehistoric activity in the immediate area and may have suggested the presence of settlement nearby. [AIP] |
