Abstract: |
The archaeological evaluation at Park Road recorded alluvial deposits of post-medieval date. No archaeological deposits or finds were recorded within the evaluation trenches. The presence of alluvial deposits may explain the apparent absence of medieval development within the area, and it could be that the site was not developed due to its susceptibility to flooding. Alternatively the site may have been outside the developed area of Chipping Campden during the medieval period.[Au] |
