Abstract: |
A watching brief was conducted during redevelopment groundworks. All of the finds recovered during the work were of 19th or 20th century date. A cobbled surface was identified at the front of the property, most likely a yard surface. Layers of re-deposited soils, demolition rubble and hardcore were also identified and indicated a high degree of recent activity on the site, most likely associated with the construction of the present house. No further archaeological works were recommended. [Au(adp)] |
