Abstract: |
A scheme of archaeological works was conducted in advance of a proposed residential development. The work comprised an earthwork survey, a geophysical survey (Fluxgate Gradiometer) and ten trial trenches across the study area. Earthworks relating to rig and furrow cultivation were present across the site. The subsurface remains of field boundaries and rig and furrow were recorded. No significant archaeological features were identified. No further archaeological works were recommended in relation to the development. [Au(adp)] |
