Abstract: |
The excavation uncovered a number of archaeological remains, notably a late Saxon/early medieval feature, which appeared to stem from the pre-monastic phase of the site. Rubble medieval walls were also present. It was thought that these walls related to Tudor demolition of parts of the building. [Au(adp)] |
