Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation consisting of four trenches and five test pits was undertaken on the site of a proposed residential development. Ditches and gullies were found in one trench. These contained small quantities of early medieval pottery and animal bone. The frequency of features and the nature of the ceramic and faunal assemblages implied domestic activity in the area.
