Abstract: |
Four trial trenches were excavated in advance of proposed redevelopment on a site by the River Thames. The site was also located in an Archaeological Priority Zone. It appeared that there had never been any human settlement within the area evaluated. However the environmental data provided evidence for the history of the development of the river bank.
