An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the site. Three areas of archaeology were identified. The northern edge contained a Neolithic/Bronze Age barrow Cemetery. The north-west end of the site contained Early/Mid Iron Age occupation and the south-east side Late Iron Age and Romano-British occupation. [Au(abr)]
