Abstract: |
Four test pits were dug to the top of the natural substrate and hand cleaned. These excavations revealed the line of a large Roman ditch dating from the late-3rd/early-4th centuries AD. Spreads of rubble and other shallow features from the Roman period were also encountered. [Au] |
