Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out within an area designated as being one of archaeological potential and adjacent to a findspot of Iron Age date. The lowest deposits comprised natural sand and gravels overlain by sandy topsoils and an organic topsoil typical to a woodland area. Modern dumping layers and a modern truncation cut were revealed. No other features or artefacts were revealed. [Au] |
