Abstract: |
Six monuments were identified in the study area and 42 within 3km of this zone. The prehistoric period is only represented by flint scatters. For the Roman period a villa, cult complex and road were recorded. The northern part of the area is a DMV (Scheduled Ancient Monument) with associated holloways, manor house, chapel and watermill. In the post-medieval period the area became a park.\n |
