Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at Eastgate Square during landscaping of the site. Four tree pit holes were examined. They were shallow and insufficiently deep to affect medieval layers or features, which may be present. Modern overburden and levelling layers were present within the tree holes and a few residual medieval pottery sherds were found. [Au] |
