Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of foundations for a conservatory and drains at Legh Manor. No archaeological features were revealed. Footings of a possible eighteenth century gazebo/summer house were noted in a field to the west of the garden, they do not appear on any plans of the house. [AIP] |
