Abstract: |
The evaluation was undertaken within an area of Bristol that was occupied at least as far back as the 13th century and that features, deposits and possibly structures dating back to that period could exist within the study area. The medieval ground surface and a possible wall were revealed as well as post-medieval drainage systems and related features. Additional archaeological intervention was recommended to reveal further evidence for early settlement activity in Bristol. [AIP] |
