Abstract:
During the course of the evaluation the trenches were positioned in the northern half of the site since the presence of standing buildings over the southern half of the site precluded trenching in this area. The trenches revealed similar depositional sequences comprising up to 1.5 metres of dumped, reclamation deposits, dated on the basis of the brick, tile and pottery inclusions to the 19th/20th centuries.[Au(abr)]
