Abstract: |
<summary>Evaluation prior to development located medieval features including beam slots, post holes and hearths which were interpreted as the remains of domestic buildings. Pottery found in association was dated between 1150 and 1250 AD. Possible ditches and layers required more investigation to ascertain their exact nature. Fragments of Rhineland quern stone and probable pre-Norman pottery sherds were also recovered. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
