Abstract: |
The evaluation found Wat's Dyke, surviving as an infilled ditch c.8m wide with associated partially robbed-out bank and later cut features were recorded in each trench. Six broad phases of activity have been identified dating from the original ground surface through to the construction of the Dyke to its re-use as a fenced boundary in the late post-medieval period.
