Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological observation, investigation and recording was undertaken during groundworks for a residential development. No archaeological features were observed and no finds were made. The first edition OS map for the area did not show any structures on the site. The layer containing much building debris, which lay above the natural deposits, was presumably laid down in advance of the area being used for vehicular parking. [Au(adp)] |
