Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during groundwork associated with the construction of a new hotel complex. A linear feature, probably a ditch, was located in the northeast corner of the site aligned on a north-south orientation. This feature was likely to date to the 16th or 17th century. A portion of 18th century wall foundation was exposed in the north facing section of the limit of excavation in the southwest corner of the site. [Au(abr)] |
