Abstract: |
An evaluation of land proposed for a landfill site revealed evidence of a number of possible field boundaries of uncertain date, possible evidence of military field damage, and evidence for differential ploughing. Most of the features noted on the aerial photographs were found to be the result of the local topography, generally as collections of colluvial material in the bases of small valleys. The results were comparable to those of a geophysical survey carried out over the same site.[Au] |
