Abstract: |
An evaluation of part of the town defence and Old Town area of Hull, impinged upon by upgrading of the A63 failed to locate the town wall but located deposits interpreted as ditch fill outside the wall and rampart make-up within the town. Archaeological deposits of late medieval and post-medieval date were found within one metre of the modern surface in the Old Town. [Au(adp)] |
