Abstract: |
The area of the proposed development was assessed as having a low archaeological potential for all periods up until the post-medieval period. However, the presence of a 'downwash' deposit raised the question of the potential for the survival of buried early prehistoric remains. Subsequently, the potential for the survival of deposits of post-medieval date, associated with the 18th century gardens was considered to be of local archaeological importance.[Au(abr)] |
