Abstract: |
<summary>A survey of earthworks situated within woodland was undertaken, to evaluate the archaeological implications of proposed development in parts of the wood. The remains of bloomery-type slags/cinder concentrations, together with bell pits, represented the extant vestiges of a medieval iron-working site, although these were found to lie outside the areas proposed for development. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 3517 |
