Abstract: |
The northern end of the pipeline produced evidence for Late Bronze Age and Roman activity including a Roman burial. In the central part of the pipeline, a kiln was recorded that produced Hedingham ware pottery from the 13th to 14th centuries. Nearby, a possible medieval stock-pen was recorded. Archaeological evidence from the central southern part of the site corresponded with map evidence for the now-vanished hamlet of "Park End". [Au(adp)] |
