Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed a low density of late Iron Age/ Romano-British pits and a medieval 'back yard' to be present, in addition to a number of post-medieval features (one which may be a well). Considerable post-medieval/modern levelling and clearance was evident above the chalk bedrock, including large areas of redeposited chalk. [Au] |
