Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation revealed the remnants of a possible late medieval land surface. This surface was truncated by the remains of an early post-medieval structure, possibly a former farmhouse constructed during the 16th or 17th century. Undated remains included pits and post holes; some of which might be associated with a 19th century cottages shown on the 1854 Ordnance Survey Map. [Au(adp)] |
