Abstract: |
A preliminary walk-over survey was undertaken to assess a site proposed for the construction of turkey rearing units. The field surface was found to contain a background scatter of late post-medieval (18th century and later) material, and three sherds of Roman "Derbyshire Ware" and a small flint flake were also recovered. A pond observed within the proposal area may have originally been a marl pit. [AIP] |
