Assessment of the archaeological implications for a proposed housing development, on land incorporating the site of a railway sidings partly occupied by a Roman Catholic Church built in 1956, identified no significant archaeological remains within the proposal area. The site however lay on the eastern periphary of the postulated early medieval settlement . [AIP] |
