Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out on a site in advance of redevelopment. No structural remains or building activity earlier than of the 19th century were found. A peat deposit up to 920mm deep, sealed by a deposit of waterlain clay was found. It is presumed to be the type known as Tilbury IV.[AIP] |
