Abstract: |
The watching brief identified the underlying deposits of river silts, a number of deposits apparently dumped to raise the ground level to mitigate the effects of river flooding and a fragment of walling, located on the line of a wall recorded on the 1911 and 1985 Ordnance Survey maps, as forming part of the building complex of Derwend Foundry.
