Abstract: |
The desktop study and previously excavated areas near the vicinity of the site demonstrated the survival of archaeological deposits, both in the immediate and wider area of the site. Two features identified in 1993 were likely to be encountered, despite not being identified during recent geophysical survey. However, it was thought that the depth of the overburden would have prevented the recognition of subtle archaeological anomalies. Only a portion of the archaeological resources on the site may therefore have been identified. [Au(abr)] |
