The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological field evaluation was undertaken across the Mountfield Estate prior to proposed residential redevelopment . Seven trenches were excavated, six of which measured 8m by 2m while the seventh was slighty shorter due to the presence of live services. This evaluation revealed no evidence for the presence of archaeological remains on the proposed development site. The results of the evaluation bore out the cartographic record, in so far as the site remained undeveloped until well into the 20th century. [Au(adp)]
