Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken on the site which lay within the outer precinct of the medieval Priory of the Order of St John of Jerusalem. The internal walls and backfill of 19th or 20th century basements were observed in the north-eastern part of the site, but no archaeological deposits were observed elsewhere. [AIP] |
