Abstract: |
The existing archaeological records demonstrated that the site had considerable archaeological potential for the survival of deposits of Romano-British date. Types of archaeological remains included structural elements associated with a possible 'villa', a well, a shaft or tunnel and graves containing grave goods and human remains. These were considered to be of regional archaeological significance.[Au] |
