Abstract: |
An archaelogical assessment identified three areas where material may have survived on land which contained an early 19th century Naval hospital, late 18th century hotel and associated structures. The areas of archaeological potential were seen at the naval hospital where the possibility existed for burials to be present, and areas of peat which were noted as being at a depth of 3-5 metres below the surface.
