Abstract: |
The excavations revealed evidence for medieval ploughing, a number of undated possible boundary features, and a number of irregular pits which were interpreted as tree throws. One of these contained a single abraded sherd of Romano-British pottery. Fragments of burnt flint, which were noted across the site, were believed to result from modern stubble burning. [Au] |
