Abstract: |
Evaluation trenches were excavated at the site. A Saxo-Norman period ditch, as well as quarry pits and post holes, were identified which may have been of the same period. A large quarry pit was found dated from the high medieval period and a pit and hollow way were dated to the late medieval period. Post-medieval gravel surfaces were also identified. [Au(adp)] |
