Abstract: |
Monitoring of the foundations for the garage identified one moderate sized pit, probably medieval in date, cutting into the alluvial silts. A further undated pit was also identified in a test pit excavated to the rear of the already completed house structure. The main service trench revealed the old foundations and the lower courses of brickwork for the north outer wall of the Methodist Chapel. No artefacts were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
