Abstract:		 An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a building within the Corfe Castle Conservation Area. A sherd of post-medieval pottery was noted within one of two trial pits, and modern pottery was observed during a later inspection following the stripping of the site. No archaeological features were revealed, and it was concluded that further archaeological works at the site would not be necessary. [Au(adp)]
