Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in response to a planning application on land between two Scheduled Ancient Monuments; St Bartholomew's Priory and Woodhall Moat. Only one feature of archaeological significance was noted comprising an undated pit, representing a deposit of burnt material or fire position. A few medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds and two flint flakes were found on the surface of the topsoil. [AIP] |
