Abstract: |
Monitoring of the site and strip and excavation of the foundation trench systems for the bungalow and the garage revealed a sequence of probable late Bronze Age archaeological deposits in the form of ditches, pits and post holes underlying the hillside top and subsoil. A small assemblage of flint artefacts associated with the archaeological features was recovered and their type and form indicated a manufacture date from the Bronze Age and later periods. [Au(abr)] |
