Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of eighteen 30m by 3m trial trenches, was undertaken on the site of proposed commercial development. The evaluation revealed that deep ploughing had disturbed the area. Four residual struck flints were recovered and a post-medieval ditch was recorded, but no other archaeological features were revealed. [Au(abr)] |
