Abstract: |
A geophysical (fluxgate gradiometer) survey, covering 4 ha (a 40% sample of a 10 ha site), was carried out on land south of Finningley. Anomalies locating an extensive system of field drains and recently infilled field boundaries had been identified, Other linear anomalies reflected the orientation of the most recent agricultural regime. Two curvilinear anomalies and a single isolated anomaly, which may have had archaeological origins, were also identified. [Au(abr)] |
