Abstract:
The site of the evaluation lay within the Stonehenge World Heritage Site, with the northern ditch of the Stonehenge Cursus lying just south of the site. The evaluation trenches revealed a number of undated linear features. Three parallel shallow features within the eastern field were interpreted as wheel ruts. A more substantial linear feature within the existing sewage works may have been associated with the excavation for an adjacent sewage pipe. No finds were recovered during the evaluation.[Au(abr)]
