Abstract: |
The site encompassed a farmyard that has been in continual use from as early as the Saxon period. No archaeological investigations had been previously undertaken on the site, which meant that the archaeological potential was unknown. Earthworks were present in the vicinity of the site which could potentially have been early medieval in origin. [AIP] |
