Abstract: |
Ten evaluation trenches were excavated to assess the archaeology of the site, and to define the extent of a group of undated inhumations discovered by the Dartford District Archaeological Group in 1996. No further burials were uncovered which suggested the group was fairly small in number. Three small features were encountered and recorded (two post holes and a gully), but no artefacts were recovered from them, or from any of the trenches. [Au] |
