Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping for stable buildings and an access road. The site covered part of a deserted medieval settlement. Cut features of medieval date were found, together with evidence for a small building. A large quantity of medieval pottery was recovered, together with an indication of some craft or industrial activity. [AIP] |
